Ad Antonella

Il pacco di Antonella

Strufoli e Farfalline di Parmigiano

Petali di cioccolato e Preparato per Cioccolata

Biscotti Sablee Decorati e . . .
tanto altro

  3. I have a huge favor to ask of you. Over the summer a friend traveled to Italy and brought back a herb mix to dip bread in. It was dried herbs of course with pieces of sun dried tomatoes and hot pepper flakes. The directions were to add 1/4 cup boiling water and let sit for 30 minutes, then add some olive oil. Do you have a recipe similar to that. I would love to duplicate the amazing flavor. It just had the brightest flavor I ever tasted. Any suggestions would be deeply appreciated.

    1/2 teaspoon ground sea salt
    1/2 teaspoon dried rosemary
1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes or Cayenne pepper
    1/2 teaspoon olive oil **
    1/8 teaspoon fresh lemon juice
    **Extra Virgin Olive Oil
Combine all of the ingredients, EXCEPT oil and lemon.
Put all ingredients in a bowl.
Stir in oil and lemon juice.
T0 Serve: Combine about 1 1/2 teaspoons spice blend to 3 to 4 Tablespoons Olive oil on a small Dish. Optional add Balsamic Vinegar to taste also.
