Confettura Speziata di Cachi (Persimmon Spicy Jam)


Ingredienti
900 g cachi maturi
2 lime succo
2 mele
1 foglio di gelatina
600 g zucchero
spezie

Far cuocere per 5 minuti i cachi, le mele tadliate a pezzetti e il succo di lime.
Frullare
Aggiungere lo zucchero e la gelatina; quindi cuocere per 45 minuti.

English Version
Ingredients:
900 g ripe persimmons
2 apples
2 limes juce
1 sheet of jelly (12 g )
600 g sugar
spices

In a pan sat over low heat put persimmons, peeled apples ( small dices) and juice.
Let it boil for 5 minutes than put the fruit mixture into a mixer till you have a purea.
Put the purea into the pan again and add sugar, jelly and spices.
Let it cook for 45 minutes.

  3. I have never eaten persimmons before. The jam is such a pretty color to. This is why I love blogging so much. You learn about so many different fruits and foods.
