Bundt Cake alle Carote con la galssa al Brown Butter {Carrot Bundt Cake with Brow Butter Frosting}






Ingredienti:
2 cups di zucchero (400 gr)
4 uova grandi
1 cup di olio (240 ml)
2 cusp di farina 00 (240 gr)
2 cucchiaini di lievito
1 cucchiaino di sale
2 cucchiaini di cannella
3 cups di carote grattugiate (340 gr)

Per il Brown Butter
80 gr di burro a cubetti
1-1/2 tazze (190 gr) di zucchero a velo
pizzico di sale
1-4 cucchiai di latte

In una grande ciotola unire lo zucchero, le uova e l'olio e sbattere usando una frusta elettrica.
Aggiungere la farina, il sale e la cannella.
Mescolare fino a quando tutto è omogeneo.
Aggiungi le carote e continuare a mescolare.
Versare il composto in una teglia e cuocere a 180 ° C per 1 ora.

Per la galssa il Brown Butter
Mettere il burro in una casseruola e cuocere a fuoco medio.
Mescolare con una spatola; all'inizio il burro comincerà a bollire e poi diventerà marrone (dorato); non farlo bruciare.

Togliere la casseruola dal fuoco, versare il burro in un'altra ciotola e lasciarlo freddare per 5 minuti quindi aggiungere lo zucchero a velo e il latte (un cucchiaio alla volta) e mescolare.
Versare la glassa sulla torta.

2 teaspoons cinnamon
3 cups grated carrots (340 gr)
For the brown butter frosting
6 tablespoons (80 gr) unsalted butter, cubed

Brown Butter Frosting
1-1/2 cups (190 gr) powdered sugar
pinch of salt
1-4 tablespoons milk

In a big bowl combine sugar, eggs and oil and beat.
Add the flour, salt and cinnamon. Stir till all is combined.
Add the carrots and whisk.
Pour the mixture into a pan and bake at 180°C for 1 hour.

For the Brown Butter Frosting
Place the butter in a saucepan over medium heat.
Using a spatula stir it; at the beginning it will begin to bubble and then it will become brown (golden); don't let it burn.
Remove the saucepan from the heat, pour the butter into another bowl and let it cool for 5 minutes then add the icing sugar and milk (one Tbs at a time) and whisk.
Pour the frosting over the cake.
