Challah

Ingredienti
125 gr lievito madre
350 farina
50 gr miele
60 ml olio
3 uova + 1 tuorlo
60 ml latte
1 tsp sale

100 gr cioccolato gratuggiato
2 cucchiai di zucchero


In una ciotola unire la farina, il lievito madre, il miele e le 3 uova.
Impastare aggiungendo acqua, sale e olio.
Ottenere una pasta omogenea.
Coprire la ciotola con la pellicola e lasciare lievitare per circa 2-3 ore.

Dividere la pasta in 6 palline e ricavarne delle strisce.
Cospargere le strisce con il cioccolato e lo zucchero quindi intrecciare.
La ricetta originale vuole che si faccia un treccia a sei, io ne ho fatte due da tre e poi le ho unite.
Lasciare riposare per circa un'altra ora / 2 ore.
Cospargere la superficie con il tuorlo sbattuto e infornare a 180°C per 45 minuti

Ingredients:

125 gr sourdough
350 flour
3 eggs + 1 yolk
60 ml oil
50 gr honey
60 water
1 tsp salt


100 gr grated chocolate
2 tablespoon of sugar

In a bowl, combine the flour, sourdough , honey and the eggs.
Knead all together adding water, oil and salt.
Cover the bowl with the film and leave to rise for about  2-3 hours.

Divide the dough into 6 pcs and make 6 strands.
Sprikle the surface of each strand with chocolate and sugar.
Make a braid using 6 strands (I made two braids with 3 strand each and then I put them near).
Let it rise for 1 or 2 hours.

Sprinkle the surface with the beated yolk.
Bake at 180°C for 45 minutes
